![]() We laid the groundwork for this encounter in Auchindoun, further reinforcing the rule that if you don’t actually see a boss die, it’s quite possible that you haven’t seen the last of them. More than just an orc now, Teron’gor gave up his old name and has taken a new one: Gorefiend. Note however that this only works once per three minutes.įalling into the heart of the mausoleum Auchindoun, the Shadow Council lieutenant Teron’gor gorged upon hundreds of draenei souls, becoming a bloated abomination in the process. Whilst being 'killed' players leave a twisted fragment of themselves at the normal fighting area which must be killed in not more than 40 seconds by other players, otherwise they die as always. His fight features an interesting new technique where players may upon their first death have a second chance to redeem themselves, being devoured by Gorefiend and fighting the twisted spirits in his body. Now he is stationed in Hellfire Citadel and allowed to consume those orcs who were to weak to survive when their fel transformation was 'blessed' upon them. Teron'gor, now horribly twisted by the endless consumption of restless souls and calling himself Gorefiend (like his main-timeline-self), followed his master, driven by the urge to feast on even more souls. Soon after Gul'dan captured Grommash Hellscream and took control of the Iron Horde, the warlock called out to his former student. Time passed, and miraculously Teron'gor survived while absorbing more and more souls to gain a horrible amount of power. Being defeated by heroes from Azeroth Teron'gor refused to accept his attempt failed and jumped down into the depths of Auchindoun. Ironically he attempted to keep all of their power to himself, not sharing even a tiny bit with his mentor Gul'dan, similar to Cho'gall. Formerly known as Teron' gor he led the assault on the sacred resting place Auchindoun with the intent to devour the numerous souls of deceased heroes of the Draenei.
